Wyndham Moore-Haines was born in South Wales. He studied electrical engineering and worked for a time as an electrical engineer in the mining industry. He migrated to London where he entered the totally different life of catering. He took early retirement from Fortes where he had worked for many years and returned to Wales in 1988. With more time he was able to indulge his life long interest in the visual arts. He has attended various arts courses and gained certificates; joined the Meirionnydd Artists Society with whom he regularly exhibits and has had a number of one man exhibitions at Council run venues in the area. He has also exhibited work at Y Tabernacal at Machynleth. Wyndham likes to use water colours and acrylics (he lacks the patients for oils) but also creates collage works and prints. |
